ofw_deviceio

implementation of the OpenFirmware device I/O client interface API for the ofw ecosystem.
this interface API is defined in the IEEE 1275 standard, beginning at section 6.3.2.3 "Device I/O" on page 67.
a copy of this standard can be found on https://openfirmware.info/ (seemingly unavailable at the moment)
